• Inform specialist of medications  any medications such as antibiotics, accutane, or topical creams (retin-a) may not be compatible with wax.
• Working out after a brazilian wax  no, do not workout after waxing.  Wait at least 24 hours before usual workout routine.
• Showering after a brazilian wax  yes, you can shower with cool water.  This is due to the fact hair follicles remain open after a wax.  It is important to avoid too much moisture.  Cool water helps seal hair follicles.
• Tanning  a recommended 24-48 hour wait after waxing.  The freshly waxed skin is susceptible to sun damage if exposed too soon.
• Sex  a recommended 24-48 hour  wait after waxing.  This will allow skin to heal and follicles to close preventing any further skin irritation.
